Producer, writer, composer & promoter, from London now based in Los Angeles, Chris Paul is the promoter of one of the biggest Rave / Jungle organizations (Orange Raves) in London, putting on events with between 2,000 & 10,000 people monthly.
Chris is one of London’s Premier DJ’s featuring at Top Venues, including DJ’ing for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth at the Queen Mother’s 90th Birthday at the Grosvenor Park Hotel in Park Lane as well as the Hippodrome, Limelight, Ministry Of Sound, Equinox, Astoria Theatre, Camden Palace and overseas in Ibiza, Portugal, Malta, Germany, and Tenerife. Chris has been previously signed to labels: EMI, FFRR (Polygram), Tommy Boy and Island.
In 1986 Chris signed to Island records with the Number one 1 Dance hit ‘Expansions 86’ appeared on the UK TV show ‘Soul Train’. In 1988 he signed to EMI records with 2 top ten Dance hits ‘Back In My Arms’ and ’Turn The Music Up’. In 1989 he toured with Afrika Bambatta & The Soul Sonic Force as their tour DJ.
In 1990 he signed to Virgin records with 2 top ten dance hits ‘All Night Long’ and ‘Get Sweet Love’ appeared on the UK TV Show ‘Dance Decade’. In 1991 he signed to Tommy Boy records and released 1 single ‘Fever’ under the name Way to Go.
