Cutworks

Cutworks (Maxim Yudin) is one of the hottest, freshest undergound artists hailing from the Russia Federation. Currently residing in Zheleznodorozhny City, east of Moscow, Maxim is a resident DJ for one of the oldest and legendary Drum and Bass event's in Moscow dubbed the 'Steppin' Sessions'.

Cutworks began producing around 2004 and since has released music on labels such as Soundtrax Records, Fokuz Recordings, Drone Audio, Camino Blue and Kos.Mos.Music. His first works were heavily influenced by classic Drum and Bass anthems and then after being inspired for several years by the 'Liquid Funk' movement, his more recent productions contain a lot more 'soul' but also heavily laced with psychedelic and unexpected musical turns.

In 2010, Cutworks also started another side-project under the alias 'Aftermoon' as an outlet for his alternative music styles and approaches such as Downtempo, Techno, and Dubstep. His performances as a DJ are filled with modern atmospheric sounds intertwined with some deep, techy Drum and Bass flavors.

Cutworks has also performed at massive music events an festivals, such as: World Of Drum And Bass, Ultramusic Festival, and Kazantip.
