Lily Unsub

UK born and New Zealand bred — Unsub (Lily), Alexis K (Alice) and n0isemakeR (Ellie) are three artists that share one thing in common; the same body.

Collectively their music has received consistent airplay from radio stations around the world including BBC, Triple J and Ibiza Radio since 2010. Alice has been noted as a featured artist on BBC Asian Network numerous times and Lily has achieved two top 50 ARIA Dance Chart releases with the tracks 'Heartstrings' and a remix of Spenda C’s ‘Getting Dumb.’

Their releases have consistently charted the top 50 on both Juno and Beatport and Lily gained her first Beatport #1 with her remix of Ill-esha’s ‘Only Fair’ (#1 for six-weeks running). Alice’s music has been used in MTV’s American Dance Legends, NZ Body Art Awards and Generation Bass Transnational Dubstep Compilation which has received worldwide acclaim. Their music has been supported by artists as diverse as Laurent Garnier, Andy Smith (Portishead), Hank Shocklee (Public Enemy) and Dominic Owen through to Bassnectar, Aphrodite and Bobby Friction. Lily is also an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and session musician.

As well as DJ’ing and music production, Lily has written three short films and worked as a composer and sound editor on several feature and short films. Her first short film as composer/sound editor named 'Blindside' was selected for the Cannes and Cyprus International Film Festivals, and has also received the Short Film Prize - Young Filmmakers award at the 2014 Shuffle Festival (UK).
